We want to welcome all of you members and visitors to the SHRM Texas A&M University-Ct Student Chapter blog. We want for you to feel at home here. We are more than a student association, we are a family association focused in the success of its members, the success of our university, and the success of our community.
We are going to use this blog to announce meetings, events, etc. You can also receive updates by using the "follow" link in the right hand side.
The first event that we want to mention is the HRSouthwest Conference in October/2009.
This is the largest regional human resource conference in the United States. This is a great opportunity to meet with professionals in the area of HR and business in general and to network. For more information, click on the HRSouthwest Conference picture event on the right.
The next event is the ground breaking ceremony of the future home of Texas A&M University-CT. The event is schedule to happen on 09/04/2009 at 9:30 am. The location is at the intersection between highway 201 and 195. We hope to see you there for this great and historic event.
